2004 BMW Z4 Overview
Introduction
The 2004 BMW Z4 Roadster offers all the unique features and exceptional power and handling you would expect for a car in this price range.
Available in standard, automatic, or auto-shift manual transmissions, the Z4 comes with two choices of 6-cylinder engine with a 2.5L 184 hp @ 6,000 rpm option, or the slightly sportier 3.0L 225 hp @ 5,900 rpm version. Both engines share roughly the same fuel economy, ranging between 20-21 mpg in the city, to 28-29 mpg on the highway. New to the 2004 model are a number of convenience and safety features, including upgrades to the wireless communication and positioning systems. Also included this year are the new rain sensing windshield wipers.NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
