My 2007 X5 4.8 has been nothing but a nightmare and the worse vehicle I have ever owned. I've owned many new BMWs (3, 5, and two 7 series) and all have their own "unique" (sometimes annoying) traits that can be overlooked because of their great performance and driver feedback. Excellent choice to change.

I upgraded my BMW X5 2001 to 2009. I am overall satisfied with the performance of the vehicle. The ride is good as expected. BMW does need to improve and upgrade their navigation system. For this amount of $ the nav. system should be a bit more user friendly. The dial/mouse used to operate the system is tedious and after awhile hurts your wrist:(
