2007 BMW X5 Overview
Introduction
X5 defines an expanding group of big, powerful SUVs that shine for their on-pavement agility and lightning acceleration, with an emphasis on luxury appointments.
The BMW X5 now has an optional third row of seats, making room for 7 passengers. It increases in size and includes even more technology such as: a variable-ratio active steering system, updated transmission, and electronically controlled suspension branded AdaptiveDrive. The 3.0si comes with a six speed automatic transmission and 260 hp 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. The 4.8i comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and a 350 hp 4.8-liter V-8 engine.
The BMW X5 is fully redesigned for 2007. Its trims are also simplified to only the 3.0si and 4.8i.
