2001 BMW M3 Overview

Introduction

The 2001 BMW M3 is the fourth-generation of the M-tuned 3-series.

Available as a two-door coupe or convertible, the M3 is fully equipped with a 3.2-liter I-6 engine that produces 333 hp @ 7900rpm. All that power is driven through the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The M3 has a fuel economy of 16mpg for city driving and 23mpg for highway driving. Anti-lock brakes, air conditioning, and dual-front and side mounted airbags are all standard features on the BMW M3. Optional features include Nappa leather upholstery, power glass moon roof, and an onboard navigation system.
