1999 BMW M3 Overview
Introduction
The 2001 BMW M3 is the fourth-generation of the M-tuned 3-series.
Available as a two-door coupe or convertible, the M3 is fully equipped with a 3.2-liter I-6 engine that produces 240 hp @ 6,000rpm. All that power is driven through the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The M3 has a fuel economy of 19 mpg for city driving and 26 mpg for highway driving. This mileage differs depending on which model is chosen. The convertible is available in a five-speed automatic transmission, thus offers less mileage while driving. Anti-lock brakes, air conditioning, and dual-front and side mounted airbags. Optional features include cruise control, Harman Kardon sound system, and heated front seats. For 1999, the BMW M3 receives no changes.Next Steps »
