2006 BMW 525 Overview

Introduction

The BMW 525 puts an emphasis on the driving. This mid-size luxury sedan remains a true sports sedan in any of its variations. Regardless of engine size or equipment level, the BMW 525 delivers lively acceleration, precise handling and outstanding brakes.

The 525 sedan seats five passengers in its leatherette and wood trimmed interior. It provides luxurious accommodations like a 10-speaker twin subwoofer sound system and rain-sensing wipers. It is powered by a 215 hp 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder. It can be equipped with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission with Steptronic. With the automatic there are manual and sport modes. Safety features include antilock brakes, tire-pressure monitor, dynamic stability control, side-, curtain-, and front-airbags.

For 2006, the BMW 525 gets a power upgrade and all-wheel drive is available.
