Surprised, and pleasantly so!
I wanted an Audi A4 Avant, and was trading my A4. They had a brand new 2013 in the showroom, and I tested it... Simply impeccable Audi tradition. Sits a bit higher, drives dream like, and although it lacks a little back-set room, it is manageable. This 2.0 Turbo engine lasted 100,000 miles on my last car without a single issues.
