The Audi TT RS is the pinnacle of the TT line-up and brings back a feature steeped in Audi tradition in the form of a five-cylinder engine.
The TT RS was developed by quattro GmbH and is the first sports car in the RS family. The TT RS is powered by a 360-hp TFSI turbocharged direct-injection 2.5-liter five-cylinder mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The all-wheel drive quattro system transfers the power through unique five-arm-rotor-design 19-inch wheels and summer performance tires. Four piston brake calipers and 14.6-inch discs up front provide the braking to offset the extra power. To differentiate its looks, the TT RS includes unique front and rear fascias, carbon fiber engine cover, aluminum door sill inserts as well as a large wing spoiler for increased downforce. Safety features include front, side and knee airbags, tire pressure monitoring, four-wheel anti-lock brakes and stability control.
The TT RS is unchanged for 2013.
