2008 Audi S4 Overview

Introduction

The Audi S4 is a modified version of the A4, also offered in sedan, wagon (Avant) and Cabriolet body styles. It has a subtly more aggressive styling, increased engine power and a sport-tuned suspension.

All S4 models are outfitted with a 4.2-liter V8 engine that generates 340 hp. A standard six-speed manual transmission and Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system transfer power to the ground; a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission that allows manual gear selection is optional. The S4 comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and performance tires, bi-xenon headlights, leather sport seats and aluminum trim elements.

The Audi S4 is a carryover from 2007, with minor equipment changes; satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a tire pressure monitoring system are standard on all S4 models for 2008.
