The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a British exotic 2-seat sports car available in coupe and convertible Roadster models. The N420 trim is inspired by Aston Martin's experiences at the Nürburgring 24-hour race.

The V8 Vantage's V8 is powered by a 420 horsepower 4.7-liter V8 mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional 7-speed automated manual with paddle-shift. Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, leather power sport seats, six-disc audio system and rear parking sensors. The N420 trim features Sports Pack suspension, a new sports exhaust system, 'Graphitic' tailpipe finishers, a carbon fibre splitter, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and sports seats with 'Race Track' stitching. A wide variety of wheel designs, paint colors, wood trims and interior trim colors can be specified. Heated seats, memory seats, a navigation system, satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and a 13-speaker, 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system are available. The optional Sports Pack includes 19-inch forged alloy wheels, up-rated springs and shocks and a revised rear anti-roll bar. The N420 can be specified with a Race Collection paint scheme that features a bold color paired with a contrasting color on the grille surround, pillars and roof.

For 2012, the optional 6-speed Sportshift automated manual transmission has been replaced with the 7-speed Sportshift II. With an additional gear, closer ratios, lower final drive and a quicker, refined shift quality, this new gearbox provides faster and more precise shifts, optimises acceleration and delivers a sporting driving experience. Quicker steering, bigger brakes with hill start assist, and wider tires have all been fitted. To reflect its enhanced performance, the V8 Vantage has received a number of styling changes inspired by the Vantage S, including a front lower bumper with larger air intake and aerodynamic splitter, a rear diffuser, and sculpted race-derived side sills.
