2005 Acura RSX Overview
Introduction
The Acura RSX is Acura's front wheel drive sports coupe that took over for the Acura Integra, which helped set the performance tuning industry. It features sharp-handling, a high revving engine, and a fully independent suspension.
Acura RSX is a youthful sports coupe car that boasts reliability, performance, and style. The model comes in two trims, the regular RSX base model and the RSX Type-S. The base model comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 160 horsepower and 141 pound-feet of torque. It comes with 16-inch wheels and tires, cloth upholstery, a five-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic. The RSX Type-S raises the bar to 210 horsepower (up from 200 last year) and 143 pound-feet of torque from its version of the same 2.0-liter engine. Type-S comes with leather, a six-speed manual with no automatic option, and 17-inch wheels and tires. The RSX is known to be more fun with the manual transmission.
For 2005, the Acura RSX has added benefits in the A-Spec package and includes upgraded brakes, with slotted rotors and better pads.
