The RDX is Acura's compact crossover, combining car-like performance and handling characteristics with the versatility of a sport utility vehicle.

The RDX boasts a 273-hp 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Acura's exclusive Intelligent Control All-Wheel Drive system ensures traction on virtually any road surface. Premium standard equipment includes a power moonroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated front seats, satellite radio and automatic climate control. Key safety technologies for the RDX include anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes with brake assist, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control, available Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, front side-impact airbags, overhead curtain airbags and active front head restraints.

The Acura RDX has been completely redesigned for 2013. Now in it's second generation, the all new RDX is larger and more functional for both passengers and cargo. Power now comes from a new V6 engine combined with Acura's Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) fuel saving technology and a new six-speed automatic transmission.

AT A GLANCE

Despite the increase in power and cylinder count, the new RDX is more fuel efficient than before. A new six-speed automatic not only provides a wider gearing spread than before, but the V-6 itself also features cylinder deactivation, allowing it to run under on three or four cylinders when under light load.
