2001 Acura NSX Overview

Introduction

The Acura NSX is an edgy super car both from a looks and performance standpoint.

The NSX is a light weight, 2-door, rear-wheel drive coupe powered by either a 3.2 L V-6 engine with 290 hp @ 7,100 rpm and 224 lb-ft of torque @ 5,500 rpm or a 3.0 L V-6 engine with 252 hp @ 6,600 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque @ 5,300 rpm. The larger engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and the smaller engine receives a 4-speed automatic. Each NSX has 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-channel ABS and independent front and rear suspension set ups that provide the NSX with exceptional handling characteristics.

The NSX remains unchanged for the 2001 model year.
