A highway jaunt to Hiroshima for car buffs in Japan over the weekend quickly turned into a costly mash-up, according to the Associated Press: The damage adds up to more than $1 million.

Eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini, and two Mercedes were wrecked in the 14-car crash.

According to police reports, a driver's risky lane change began a domino effect. He ricocheted off the median barrier, causing his fellow supercar drivers to crash into each other when they tried to get out of the way.

The network NTV aired footage of the crash, which shows the vehicles far beyond a state of repair. Luckily, no one was seriously injured, according to the police in Yamaguchi prefecture.
