Touting the safety of its design, a new Hyundai Veloster ad has been banned in The Netherlands due to its morbid nature.
What do you think? Is the ad too graphic to be shown on television? Sound off in the comments!
I didn't know what to think at first, but once i watched it , it really does send the message NOT to get out of a car or vehicle into traffic because you can see what CAN happen!!! Keep the ad!!!

My 12 year has seen much worse on video games and even cartoons. I would much rather him see something like this that might make him think twice about safety, than something that is saturatated with sexual inuendos, or awesome feats of whatever, that arent possible. A little does of reality never hurt anyone.

One side of the assembly line got the two door version, the other only one door! The Marketing guys came up with a solution to save the company, and come out looking like safety concerned engineering! Kudos. Now for their next trick......selling all those leftover left side rear doors!

August 24 2011 at 2:14 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI get the whole ad and appreciate the intent. In America we drive on the right side so the left side door not opening from inside seems to be good for safety. That said, the ad was a little morbid and I'm not sure I'd want my kids seeing it. Try and come up with something a little less dramatic.
