My story got cut off but to make a long story short Toyota is #1
I'm going to put my dollar where I get the best value... something for the american car companies to strive for. When they put the quality in their product I will buy it

Well just my 2cent, but some people think that because a foreign country buys some soil on american land, and all kind of stuff like americans losing their jobs, this is life you know. Some things you just cant control. This is about who makes pretty good off road Mini SUV's. Im not sure about pricing for the forester, but maybe they couldnt find a $25,000 brand new model. It would of been nice to see one in this comparo. Im suprised at the Japanese manufacturers. I know their vehicles take better to city driving abuse than american and European vehicles. The american vehicles (in general) are better off for slow highway cruising (60-80mph) And if course the european cars for faster paced highway cruising (80-100mph). They all have their ups and down's, but im my opinion, the japanese, are making more reliable and better quality (cheaper plastics and other materials) than any other region. Its all about preference, Im sure they all are good. But on pavement, it seems according to the e

By the way I drive a 2007 FJ Cruiser Voodoo blue model 4X2 and 2007 Tacoma 4X2 and both are Bad boy trucks..with alot of power.

Perhaps some of you should drive the Toyota FJ Cruiser, now that's a Bady boy, lot's of power and looks cool.. At a Jax, Fl car show they offered a free test ride in a FJ 4X4, Tacoma 4X4 and Tundra 4X4 over a mini off road course. These tucks handled and performed very well and alot of people are going to be swayed to buy Toyota!!!!

When I first got married in 1973 I had a Olds cutlass and my wife had Datsun B210 They both had over 150,000 mi when I got rid of them.. Two kids later I then bought a 1980 Toyota corolla wagon and a 1986 Ford areostar. The toyota was unbelieveable and the Ford areostar was in the shop a lot. so at about 80,00 mi I traded the 1986 areostar in for a 1992 thinking they would have worked out the problems by that time. I really loved the vehicle but guess what ....Same problems different day.... stupid me! I then traded in my areostar for a GMC Yukon. My wife wanted a new car so we bought a brand new 1987 Camry wagon..... what a car! My Yukon started to have a lot of problems so the last thing that happened to it was a freeze plug on the back of the engine at 70,000 mi and it was $2000.00 to fix it. I got in the Yukon and drove it down to the Toyota dealer and traded it in on a new Sequoia.... I stil have it and it's the best car I have ever had. My wifes Camry had 250,000 mi on it when
