A family in Washington claims they'll have to cancel doctor's appointments, surgeries and possibly Christmas gifts after their car was stolen over the weekend.

Michael and Melissa Brown said they awoke to find the family's 1999 Plymouth Breeze gone from its usual parking spot outside of their townhouse in Tacoma, Wash.

The Browns told Q13 Fox the theft couldn't come at a worse time. Their son Curtis was born without ears or eardrums and without the family car he could miss important surgeries and appointments to correct his hearing. Michael is recovering from knee surgery and may miss physical therapy appointments. Melissa needs to bum a ride to work every day.

That's not the only bad news. The Browns told Q13 Fox if their Plymouth isn't found, funds saved for Christmas gifts will be used to buy a new car instead.
